Ligularia przewalskii
Large flowered Evening Primrose (Oenothera glazioviana)
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)
Any new plants in the Stobswood area are unlikely to be native but I had never seen Ligularia przewalskii before, a garden escape probably but a few plants were growing beside the railway line at the old brickworks. Large flowered Evening primrose and Fennel were also gracing this former industrial site.

I presume that this is the same Count Przewalskii after whom the wild horse is named.
Really interesting photos. I used to 'find' fungi when I first became interested in natural history at school. I must find time to do more than just bird watch.
I think it must be Andrew but I've never heard the name mentioned anywhere else. Thanks for the comment
