Hi Simon
Sorry it has taken me a while to reply.
Widdrington tip turn off is quarter mile North of Widdrington station signposted Old Brickworks. Another quarter of a mile along this road where the wood on your right breaks, turn right where a tarmacked road for another third of a mile and the old tip entrance is on your left where the tarmac ends and the track becomes a dirt track. It was a refuse site in the eighties and early nineties but was planted up in the late nineties. It is a damp area and good for flora and fauna but is becoming somewhat overgrown these days. Hope this helps.
