Climbing Corydalis (Ceratocapnos claviculata)

Yesterday we climbed up Cheviot and once on the summit walked over the now dry bog towards the Hen hole and back over Cairn hill and Scotsman knowe and dropped down to pick up the Harthope burn where it begins as a small spring and followed the burn along where it tumbles and falls towards Langleeford. It is roughly nine miles, a beautiful day but very cold.

As your mate would say about getting to the top of Cheviot "It's a puggying"!

No dotterel yet then?

Theres only one gruelling steep bit but otherwise it's a pleasant walk to the top. I had a good walk around the dry boggy areas but didn't see any Dotterel. It was like the North pole but without the snow up there on Monday with 2 Raven and some hardy Meadow pipits on the summit. I was pleased with seeing Cloudberry in flower though.
