Some snowy scenes
A few inches of snow had fallen overnight. I had a few things to do but had time to take a few pics around Abbey meadows and Carlisle park this morning.
Well, you don't see Coprinus mushrooms or grey herons in the snow too often. The snow scenes are lovely. We have a little snow, too, but not quite enough to be photogenic.
There's a couple of inches in Redesdale and everything looks nice, but it's early for weather like this. Hope it's not going to be another bad winter. I'm just getting over being snowed in for three weeks in January.
I love the Great Blue Heron photo. It looks very cold after seeing your previous photos. I suppose if I had seen he same photo in the summer I would thing "refreshing." Where are you? I assume British Isles by the names you give, but where? I'm not seeking to know where your home is exactly, but a bit closer geographically. Thanks.

Thanks for the comments. There has been a lot more snow since these pics were taken. Beyond the garden... I live in the North east of England.
